The claim
Apple is splitting its iPhone releases: Pro and foldable models in fall, the standard iPhone 18 and 18e in spring.
Why we rated it Likely
Reported repeatedly by Mark Gurman and echoed by several outlets. The fall 2026 lineup (iPhone 18 Pro and the foldable iPhone Duo) matched the split. Apple has not confirmed the spring models or date.
