Privacy policy
Last updated Oct 17, 2026
The short version: LeakDeck has no accounts and does not sell personal data.
What we collect
- Nothing you type unless you use the email signup (when it is switched on) or email us.
- Your display preference. If you toggle light/dark mode, your browser stores that choice locally (localStorage). It never leaves your device.
- Basic traffic stats. When enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across sites. Our host (Cloudflare) also keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and page requested, for security and reliability.
Email signup
If we offer a newsletter, your address is stored by our email provider and used only to send the digest. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Ads and affiliate links
We may show ads or use affiliate links in the future. Ad networks and retailers can set their own cookies under their own policies, and if we add them we will update this page and show a consent choice where the law requires it. See the disclosure page.
Links to other sites
We link to news publishers and company sites. They have their own privacy practices.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold. Email hello@leakdeck.com and we will respond. LeakDeck is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We will post changes here and update the date above.
